A coin for a thought

              This week we had an interesting game called a coin for a thought.First teacher collected a coin from each and every student and put them into a purse.The game was purse must be passed among all students and when teacher taps on the table,the student with the purse must take a coin.And then say a most memorable thing on the year which was written on the coin.
Image result for coins in sri lankaThe session was going awesome. My fellow mates brought out their remarkable memories when they got the chance to present their memories. Those were very funny and some are very interesting.Unfortunately I haven't got the chance in this time. But I enjoyed this session by listening to my friends' stories.
So the last session for first year was ended by this activity and all those sessions gave us valuable lessons and good precious memories. So all these sessions were awesome.


The session was going awesome. My fellow mates brought out their remarkable memories when they got the chance to present their memories. Most Inspired Leader

     As the other days this week also we had an interesting session and not a game which is about the leadership qualities.Summery of that session was we have to be leaders of ourselves.The leader that inspired me most is Steve jobs the founder of the Apple company.

        He was known for being demanding and hard working, yet possessing a certain Zen and simplicity. While many of us will never be able to mimic the unique characteristics that made Steve Jmobs such an inspirational leader, there are a number of lessons that any individual can learn from his unique leadership style.
      Confidence

         While most individuals know that it is important to have a certain amount of confidence in a leadership position, Steve Jobs showcased just how important this was with his own efforts with his products. If there was one thing that Steve Jobs had it was confidence and it is something that gave his team members the self-assurance they needed to break barriers and create some of the most innovative pieces of technology in our world today.

       Adaptable 
While Steve Jobs’ adaptabilit
y is a more subtle quality than his confidence, his ability to be adaptable is something that Jobs used to his advantage in multiple situations. When Jobs was ousted from Apple when he was 30 years old for his lack of empathy and leadership skills, the innovator spent the next 12 years adapting his skills and his unique style of leadership to better fit the needs of the company. He was known by many for being too focused on work to care about others’ feelings which was one of the reasons Apple cut ties with him in the first place, but he adapted, came back and went on to pioneer some of Apple’s greatest creations ever.
     Vision
     Above all things, Steve Jobs had vision and this creative vision challenged his employees and drove them to act with vision as well. He was always thinking of the future and always had a clear idea of what he wanted to move towards. This vision helped Jobs pull his team together and helped them work towards a common goal whenever he had a new idea for the future of Apple.

Culture

                     In last week also we had an interesting game.Actually it is not a game,it is kind a act.The teacher asked us to think as we are in an island which we have a own language which is differ than existing languages and we have an own culture and as well as a dance.And also we have our own theme song as well .So we thought of language that we will speak ,and the name of our island was "hooba lanthaya".  And the language was huba huba language.

After that teacher asked us to act it in front of the class .So went to front and started to speak in huba huba language.That went well and we started to sing in that language as well . That was really an interested thing.We had a unique dancing way as well .But not the culture.So we had'n had a strategy for act our unique cultural activity.So we failed at that point.
