Lava river

Another day we were asked to play a game called lava river.And it was awesome game. There were four teams in competition.Our task was to cross a lava river using given stones.As any game this game also has several rules.They are each and every stone needs human touch otherwise the team will lose that stones and if you touch the ground it means you have step on the lava.So that team has lose the one attempt and have to restart crossing the lava river.And hardest thing was each and every team has four paper sheets as stones and team consist of eight members.

We had a strategy to cross the river with given four stones.First one put the stone and step on the stone.And like that eight of them manage to stand on three stones and hand over the last stone to the front gamer. So like that we manage to cross the river within eleven minutes.Every  other team spend more time than us.But at the end we were misdirected by our other team mates and finally we lost two of our stones at the end of the river.But how ever we manege to cross the river.But we had to take two attempt as well.There was a team who completed the task in their first attempt and they spent sixteen minutes for that.How ever they were the winning team.

There was a team who had lost their two of stones at the beginning and they said there was no way that they win that task.But the point was they didn't really know about the rules of the game.That was the main reason to lose.There was a rule that if you step on the lava then you have to restart the game you will get all of stones which is all four stones.If they stepped on the lava they may have a chance on winning.But they didn't know about the rule.And from that we learnt to study the rules and every thing before we start any task.

That was really a great game and we learnt a lot things such as how to work as a team.Because in future we all have to work in teams or with different people.

Bata puzzle

                   Another day our teacher asked us to do something,which is she divide us into 5 groups and gave us a nice picture.Then she ask us to cut into ninety five pieces .Some teams have pass that level and cut 125 pieces .Since the every team should get the equal amount of pieces we also had to cut it to 125 pieces.We cut different shapes and different sizes. Because we didn't know what is about to happen. Now the pieces are already shuffled. Teacher got some of our pieces and shuffled them with others pieces and did the same to the other teams as well.The task was to find our missing pieces and rearrange it.
Then teacher ask us to rearrange it as a whole picture in given time of one hour.After that we were in a hurry to rearrange it .All the team members participated as one.That helped a lot.

No one succeeded to complete the given task within given time.So the time of the class also ran out.Because of that teacher asked us to number the pieces that we have arrange up to now in order to start completing the task where we stop in next class. So we numbered them and unfortunately we only arranged only 32 pieces out of 125 pieces.  

Next day we came and got our pieces and it took around thirty minutes to rearrange the pieces that we numbered.Next day we only had one and half hours.So we tried do our best to complete it. 

Finally time ran out.The teacher ask us to bring the remain pieces of picture and she got a count of all teams because no team finished the task.So the team who has the less count of remaining pieces is the winning team.

So we didn't win the game. One team failed because the all pieces are arranged but there were misplaced pieces.We failed game because we didn't have enough patient. 

Egg cover and match sticks

There is an interesting game called egg cover.And we were divided into five groups and given five papers and an egg. After that we didn't know what to do. The teacher told us to create something to protect the given egg with given papers. So we had a lot of ideas to protect the egg. One is to create a parachute. The second one was to create a box and put that egg to it and have piece of paper inside the box as well.We consider both of their ideas and we came to an conclusion to combine both ideas.
From that we had a proper strategy. Our group had five members and they worked as one to achieve our goal within given time period.

So finally we have completed the egg cover and the we place it on a table.And we thought that was the end of that game.But it wasn't. The teacher ask one student to come forward and throw the eggs one by one to a same high. And he did.One out of five groups has lost the game.Because the egg cover that they made didn't protect the egg. The egg was broken.After that we were asked to present what went wrong and what are the strengths.


Every group said what they did and they explain what went wrong.By the way our egg was protected. The  games main idea was to build our contribution with a group and respect each and every ideas of team mates. Finally it thought us how to achieve a goal with a team.

After that teacher gave us some riddles using match sticks,and one of student succeeded to find the answers for the riddles.
